Vibrant St Kilda
This small 1960s kitchen was in serious need of an overhaul. Lacking storage and bench space, cooking and cleaning was a chore. The owners, a vibrant St Kilda couple, were tired of the mess and chaos that this space created. Inspired by their world travels, including stops in Morocco and Jerusalem, they craved a splash of warmth and colour in their Vintage styled home with the efficiency and cleanliness that a modern day design brings. The loungeroom includes many vibrant colours including prints by William Morris. A large focus was also placed on environmental and health issues, driven by recent news of Silicosis in the stone industry.
